    Inspecting offshore turbine blades means sending crews out to sea. An earlier AI system was only 70 to 80% accurate on drone photos, so many trips were spent confirming damage.

    A workflow in steps, each with its own model: flag possible damage, outline it, check its depth and grade its severity with a confidence score. Low-confidence photos go to a blade engineer, who decides whether a crew goes out.

Machine faults fixed on a video call, without an engineer

  1. CHALLENGE

    More than 60% of the maker’s faults could not be solved from its error codes. Each needed an after-sales engineer on a video call, working from experience and by trial.

    A service assistant built from the maker’s past video calls, error codes and machine data. It warns users before a fault, takes the video call and guides the person at the machine. An engineer takes the faults it cannot solve.
